For Youth Day the university hosted a meeting with the leadership of the Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The agency was represented by its director Akmal Jumanazarov, PhD in Technical Sciences; the director's adviser on research, Professor Naibaxon Mamadaliyeva; and the head of the Samarkand branch of the National Metrology Institute of Uzbekistan, Dilshod Turaev.
The meeting discussed the present role of technical regulation, the opportunities opening for young specialists and promising directions of cooperation with the university; students put their questions directly to the experts.
