About the centre
The Kelajakka Qadam (Step into the Future) centre opened at the university in May 2025 in partnership with the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (O‘zmilliybank). Under Presidential Resolution No. 61 of 14 February 2025, “On additional measures to help graduates of higher education institutions find employment”, it helps graduates enter the labour market and supports youth entrepreneurship.
Presidential Resolution PQ-210 of 1 June 2026, “On additional measures to ensure youth employment by supporting entrepreneurial projects”, opened the programme's next stage: through its Kelajak Tadbirkorlari (Future Entrepreneurs) project the National Bank lends on preferential terms to students and young people under 31 who want to turn a business idea into a company. The resolution aims to reach more than 300,000 young people and create some 100,000 additional jobs in 2026–2028.
The centre's two sections — the business projects our graduates have launched, and the loan products for students and young people — are kept up to date.
What the centre does
- Business ideas — final-year students get support in preparing and financing their projects.
- Employment — open competitions by field for graduates and younger students, with jobs for the winners.
- Professional training — individual vocational programmes developed with large employers.
- Placements and international experience — internships at production sites and short courses at universities abroad.
Meeting with graduating students
In March 2026 the university held a meeting with its final-year students. Taking part were Pardaev Xurshid Sanokulovich, head of the Samarkand regional main office of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan; Sh. P. Jumaqulov, head of the National Bank's Samarkand regional main office; Po‘latov Otabek Sharofiddinovich, chairman of the Samarkand regional branch of Business Development Bank; Qudratov Bekmirzo Inotulloyevich, head of the Samarkand regional branch of Sanoatqurilishbank; Temurbek Tirkashev of the National Bank's Samarkand regional office, who is assigned to the Kelajakka Qadam centre; and Mirolim Shodmonqulov, the university's Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
The speakers explained the centre's work and what the Presidential resolutions mean for graduates. At the end the students were told how to join the programme and which documents they need.
