About the department
The Faculty of Construction, founded in 1966, is the institute's first faculty. Over the years its deans were Professor R.A. Ibadullin, Associate Professors B.K. Karimov, A.S. Tyan, T.A. Aslanqulov, S.N. Muminov, I.I. Shirov and A.A. Raxmonov, Professor R.I. Xolmurodov, Associate Professors M.M. Xonkeldiev, M.M. Yakubov, B.I. Saidmuratov, A.T. Qo‘ldashev, A.A. Bayzakov and A. Madatov, B.B. Rasulov, PhD, and Professor D.O. Jurakulov. Since 2024 the faculty has been led by J.Sh. Suyunov, PhD in Technical Sciences.
The faculty keeps the master-and-apprentice tradition alive, its teachers passing on their knowledge and experience to students. Its eight research laboratories and teaching rooms meet modern requirements and suit teaching built on modern pedagogical technology.
