About the university
Samarkand State Technical University (SDTU) has been training the specialists who design, build and preserve Uzbekistan's cities since 1966.
Mission
The university unites academic tradition, contemporary research and hands-on professional training in the centre of Samarkand. Four faculties span architecture, civil engineering, engineering economics and cultural heritage preservation — a combination unique among the country's universities.
