About the department
The Faculty of Preservation of Cultural Heritage was established under Presidential Resolution PQ-416 of 8 November 2022 “On measures to further improve the system of personnel training in the field of architecture and construction”.
In 2025 the faculty counts 22 teaching staff: three associate professors, two PhDs, two foreign lecturers, four senior lecturers and eleven lecturers. Forty-four students graduated in the 2023–2024 academic year; in 2024–2025, 254 bachelor's and 8 master's students study here.
The faculty comprises the departments of Reconstruction and Restoration of Architectural Monuments and of Preservation of Cultural Heritage Sites. The deputy dean for academic affairs is Aktam Akramovich Gaffarov.
