Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, visited the new teaching building of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
During the visit the Minister saw the new infrastructure, the modern conditions created for teaching, the research environment and the opportunities open to staff and students. He also talked with students and heard their views and suggestions.
The university's new building stands on 0.7 hectares and has a total floor area of 27,853 square metres. It has six storeys and holds 104 teaching rooms, a canteen, an activities hall and a 350-seat library.
