Umida Mahmudova, a student of the Faculty of Architecture of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University, did the university proud at the Samarkand city round of the “Businesswoman–2025” contest, taking 2nd place!
The contest, held at Samarkand's professional skills centre, brought together the city's most active businesswomen, selected in advance. The judges assessed participants' achievements in setting up modern production processes, creating new jobs and manufacturing products that substitute for exports or imports.
Umida Mahmudova's initiative, hard work and forward-looking ideas were rated highly by the judges, and she won a place in the contest's regional round.
The winners were presented with diplomas, letters of appreciation and commemorative gifts by the Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP).
