Under the slogan “The army of New Uzbekistan — the country's support, our people's pride!”, students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University visited the Central Military District of Samarkand region.
The visit was organised on the initiative of Nazorbek Axmedov, the faculty's deputy dean for youth affairs, and tutors Surayyo Januzakova and Zoyir Umirzakov.
The students were given a detailed account of the current development of our national army, the conditions created at higher military academies, and the army's role in safeguarding our country's security and independence.
They were also given a close look at the various exhibits in the history building located at the Central Military District, and had a chance to ask questions of interest to them.
