The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services organised a “Leader and Youth” meeting for the students of Samarkand State Technical University. Deputy Minister Ozoda Jo‘rayeva, university rector Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz and young people studying in the city took part.
Ozoda Jo‘rayeva spoke highly of the young people's potential, saying she sees them as future statespeople, builders and accomplished specialists responsible for the country's prosperity; she urged them to believe in their own strength, take initiative and keep searching, and confirmed that the ministry supports every idea and initiative of the young.
As noted at the event, under the ministry's 2025 youth-employment programme more than 14,800 young people were trained in a trade and brought into employment in cooperation with apartment-building management bodies and construction organisations. This year a system of career progression for young specialists on the “social lift” principle is planned; the master-and-apprentice schools continue, and students of the field's universities are guaranteed practical placements.
