A celebration under the slogan “Uzbekistan trade unions – 120 years with the people” was held at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
The event was attended by Suxrob Rafikov, chairman of the Samarkand regional trade unions, SDTU rector Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz, First Vice-Rector for youth affairs and moral and educational work Sherzod Uzoqov, and Baxodir Eshmurodov, head of the university's primary trade-union organisation for staff and students, who warmly congratulated the profession's staff and veterans.
During the event, a group of active professors and staff, as well as employees who placed in the sports competitions held for the occasion, were honoured with certificates of appreciation, diplomas and commemorative gifts.
