Today Talgat Sharipov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand, visited Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
During the visit a meeting was held with the university's leadership, discussing: education — student and teacher exchange, joint degree programmes, placements and internships; science — joint research projects, setting up laboratories, academic conferences; culture — festivals and exhibitions, cultural exchange through language learning; consular support — assistance with visa and organisational matters; infrastructure — shared use of resources, developing digital education platforms; and financial cooperation — joint participation in grants and international programmes.
A presentation was also given on SDTU's activities, research directions and future plans.
