Representatives in Uzbekistan of Larsen & Toubro Construction, one of India's largest construction companies, visited Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
The purpose of the visit was to recruit qualified specialists from among the university's talented graduates. The delegation was led by Ponrajapandi Rathinasamy Jaiswal, chief project manager for the CIS countries, and Iskandar Usmanovich Buranov, head of business initiatives for the CIS countries.
Individual interviews were held with 24 graduates who expressed interest in working at the company. Four of them were selected after successfully passing the interview and IQ-test stages.
The visit opens up wide opportunities for SDTU graduates to work internationally, gain advanced experience and develop as qualified professionals.
