A literary meeting was held for students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University, aimed at giving them a meaningful and spiritually enriching summer break.
The guest of the meeting was Sherzod Jo‘rayev, a former graduate of the university and a poet beloved across the country, who held a warm conversation with students in the new building's library. The poet shared his thoughts on his own student years, the positive changes at the university, and the opportunities now being created for young people.
Sherzod Jo‘rayev encouraged the students to befriend books and never forget their spirituality, reading examples from his poetry collection “Winds Stilled in Hearts.” During the event, the students also performed their own favourite poems, giving the evening a warm, cultural spirit.
