A meeting was held at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University with representatives of higher education institutions from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting was attended by the university's Rector Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz, First Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Juramirza Qayumov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Abror Gadayev, and Head of the International Relations Department Said Kurtametov.
The foreign delegates:
— Nurmammad Mammadov – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Engineering Systems and Structures Construction at AzAQU (Azerbaijan);
— Mahir Dursun – Professor at Gazi University (Turkey);
— Muslim Cengiz – Professor at Gazi University (Turkey);
— Gulnar Feyzieva – Associate Professor at AzAQU (Azerbaijan);
— T. Kh. Karimov – I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (Kyrgyzstan).
The meeting held talks on developing cooperation between the university and the foreign institutions, on exchange, dual supervision and participation in joint projects.
