During the fair, Mirolim Shodmonqulov, Vice-Rector for academic affairs, and Elmurod Haydarov, head of the Registrar's Office's service department, held talks with Ilhom Ibragimov, deputy director of “Mirankul group”. Agreements were reached on organising job vacancies and internships for students, and the relevant contracts were signed.
Information was also given by G‘olib Boboyorov, a specialist of the human resources department of the Samarkand inter-regional division of the Republican Aerogeodesy Centre, for final-year students of the Department of Geomatics Engineering's “Geodesy, cartography and cadastre” and “Cadastre (real estate cadastre)” programmes, and contracts on their employment were concluded.
In addition, teaching staff and students of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Engineering held discussions with Sherali Irgashev, a specialist of the Tayloq district office of the Main Directorate for Poverty Reduction and Employment, and Malika Mamirova, human resources inspector of Jomboy district's Polytechnic No. 1. Information was given on job vacancies posted on the platform ish.mehnat.uz, and labour contracts were concluded with graduating students.
During the fair, agreements were also signed for students to do internships at the Main Directorate for Employment.
This event served as an important factor in expanding professional internships, employment and international ties for SDTU's students.
