Yesterday a unique masterclass in the famous Turkish art of Ebru (painting on water) was held at the university. It was led by Songül Kartal, an international Ebru artist, a teacher with 16 years of experience and an organiser of creative events.
The participating teachers and students immersed themselves deeply in the delicate secrets of the art of Ebru. Watching the dance of colours on the surface of the water, and creating a work with their own hands, left a great impression on them.
At the end of the event, Songül Kartal was presented with keepsakes on behalf of the university.
