The 26th “Qurilish-UzBuild 2025” international exhibition, planned to run 25–27 February at the Uzexpocentre central exhibition complex and the new “CAEx Uzbekistan” exhibition venue, opened today.

The event holds significant importance for the development of the construction, furniture-making and woodworking industries in our country, creating a major networking venue for local and foreign businesspeople. Representatives of countries such as Belarus, Germany, China, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and the UAE are taking part with their own national pavilions.

Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University is also taking an active part in this international event. Jo‘ramirza Qayumov, First Vice-Rector for strategic development, Ulug‘bek Raximov, Director of the Incubation Centre, Emrah Turkyilmaz, professor of the Department of Architecture, and several of the university's teaching staff are taking part in the exhibition.

During the event, university representatives held cooperation talks with foreign and local organisations. In particular, future cooperation was discussed with the Russian company Stemps, the British architecture firm WilkinsonEyre, and leading Uzbek construction companies.

Products related to the construction, furniture-making and woodworking industries are being displayed at the exhibition. Road construction, construction machinery, equipment and new materials are also being presented in the “Construction Machinery and Technologies — BuildTech” section.

This international event is an important platform for exchanging foreign experience and presenting local projects to investors and partners. The “Qurilish-UzBuild” exhibition has been held since 2000 and has, within a short time, become the largest construction-industry event in Uzbekistan. To date it has hosted 3,503 companies from 45 countries.
