On 11 July 2025 the closing ceremony of the international summer school on “Smart Cities” was held at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) in Beijing, China.
During the programme, representatives of our university gave papers and shared their experience of developing the “Smart Cities” concept. All participants were awarded special certificates at the closing ceremony.
After the closing ceremony our representatives visited the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design at the Xicheng campus, meeting with the faculty's head, Professor Wei Feiyu.
During the talks, agreement was reached on strengthening cooperation in the following areas:
Establishing inter-departmental ties in architecture and landscape design.
Launching academic mobility programmes (1–2 semesters).
Strengthening professional cooperation between teaching staff.
Preparing co-authored textbooks and scientific articles.
Organising exhibitions of students' coursework.
Cooperating on international grants.
