On 30–31 October, the fifth Uzbekistan-Japan rectors' forum, on “Harmony between knowledge and society: interdisciplinary approaches to human development and innovation”, was held in Samarkand.
Our university's rector, Chidem Turkyilmaz, took part in the event and presented a paper at the first session, on “Human capital for an advanced technological future: aligning higher education with the needs of industry and the labour market”.
