Today Muhsinxoja Abdurahmonov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan, visited Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
The meeting included a presentation on the cooperation established between SDTU and Japanese universities and companies. The prospects for developing this cooperation further were also discussed.
One of the key initiatives raised was setting up a centre at the university to train staff to work in Japan.
This initiative would let students work in Japanese companies in their own fields, study at Japanese universities at master's and doctoral level, and would expand the pool of specialists with international experience.
