To fulfil item 6 of Assignment No. 60, given at the videoconference meeting chaired by President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev on 13 December 2024, and Order No. 18 “On organising preparatory courses at institutions of higher education for applicants, including children in the graduating class from poor and low-income families”, preparatory courses have been organised for 11th-grade pupils attached to Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
The courses are aimed at strengthening applicants' knowledge of general-education subjects, and classes in physics, mathematics, computer science and English are being run by department teaching staff in cooperation with the Registrar's office.
The preparatory courses that have been organised play an important role in effectively preparing pupils for higher education and in creating additional conditions for the children of families in need of social support.
