Combating corruption is one of the most important tasks in ensuring the world's development, peace and security. Since 2004, 9 December has been marked as International Anti-Corruption Day.

In line with this, and in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and an order of the university's rector, our university has declared an “Anti-Corruption Week” from 19 to 26 November 2025.

As part of the week, the following contests are being launched for 9 December — International Anti-Corruption Day — an “Essay” contest, in which students set down their thoughts on paper under the slogan “Youth says no to corruption!”, held on 19 November; a “Drawing” contest, judging creative works on the theme “Corruption — a threat to the future!”, with entries due by 20 November; and a “Video” contest, judging videos, no longer than 3 minutes, on the theme “An educational institution free of corruption”, with entries due by 21 November.

For further information on the contests, you may contact R. Davirov, head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Control management department, on tel. (66) 237-36-25, or the specialist A. Norjigitov on tel. (97) 912-23-95.

The contest gives thorough treatment to the theme of combating corruption and lets students show their creativity by expressing it in a creative and artistic form. Winners can look forward to diplomas and cash prizes.
