The official launch ceremony for the “Physical Fitness Level” sports trials was held at the university during the sports month held under the slogan “An Athlete Is a Defender of the Homeland — Sports Trials.”
The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Moral and Educational Work Sherzod Uzoqov and Dean of Students Sherzod Bozorov.
In the inter-faculty militarised sports competitions, teams and individuals competed in the following sports:
— table tennis;
— tug of war;
— 100-metre sprint;
— pull-ups on the horizontal bar;
— arm wrestling.
The teams taking first place in these competitions were awarded diplomas and keepsake gifts:
— 1st place – the “Amir Temur's Followers” team;
— 2nd place – the “Qaytmaslar” (“The Undefeated”) team;
— 3rd place – the “Mangulik” (“Eternity”) team.
The teams taking part in the event were: Temur Avlodlari, 1-TTJ O'g'lonlari, TTJ-1, Manguberdi Izdoshlari, MMOA Lochinlari, Iqtisodiyot, Beruniy Izdoshlari, Qaytmaslar, O'zbegim Yoshlari, Mangulik, Amir Temur Izdoshlari, Benom, Yurt Qo'riqchilari, Qalqon Terma, Turon Arslonlari, Qalqon, and Chaqqonlar.
