A scientific-practical conference on “Current issues in teaching Uzbek and Russian at technical higher-education institutions (theory, methodology, technology)” was held in the Small Assembly Hall of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University, organised by the Departments of Uzbek Language and Literature and of Foreign Languages.
The conference discussed the research of professors, lecturers, scholars and students in linguistics, teaching methodology and modern technology.
Participants exchanged views and offered useful suggestions on applying innovative approaches to teaching Uzbek and Russian.
The conference was of great significance for developing language education, exchanging experience, and putting new pedagogical ideas into practice.
