Ualid Fuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan, visited the city of Samarkand and held a meeting with the heads of institutions of higher education.
Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz, Rector of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University, and Juramirza Qayumov, First Vice-Rector for strategic development, took part in the meeting.
During the event, the two sides discussed future bilateral cooperation on tackling environmental problems and on the efficient use of the region's natural resources.
